There can be a host of issues why this might happen but let’s go ahead and list a few of them and their solutions (if available).
Problem: You’ve purchased and received and email with links to the files but they’re not working.
Solution #1: Before anything, please make sure your payment was successfully made. There are times when your online payment provider will fail or is placed on hold. This will cause the files to be held on our end.
Solution #2: We use Dropbox to host some of our downloads files, these links can and do randomly go dead. Don’t panic and start a chargeback with your online payment provider. Just reach out to us (me) at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll make sure you receive your purchases. (It’s a one man show here and I’m only available Mon-Fri, 9-5pm EST)
Solution #3: You’ve panicked because I haven’t responded immediately and initiated a hold or chargeback. The backend system on our site with flag the order and throw you an error when trying to download the files. Just reach out to us (me) at email@example.com and we’ll make sure you receive your purchases. (It’s a one man show here and I’m only available Mon-Fri, 9-5pm EST)
Solution #4: Ok, so you’ve downloaded the files (.zip) and when you go to extract them, nothing happens or your extractor says the file is corrupt. Don’t worry it’s not, you’re just using an inferior extractor. Please go to 7-zip.org and download the latest version of their extractor to well, extractor your files and you’ll be off and running in to time!
